Some pictures of the baby

Here are some recent pics of Matthias, he is now almost 8 and half months, but is still toothless...he loves taking baths and particularly licking the shampoo bottle when it's all soapy..LOL..

Garden tent

Yesterday morning for fun they decided to make this little "tent" on the lawn in the garden and tried to fill with as many books and toys as they could...they were so cute..Bianca on the left, Erica on the right..

If everyone cared..

Awhile back I had posted the link to this video as I thought this song and video was quite nice, and now since I manage to download it here it is for all to view

Busy times

Indeed these have been busy times here in the home trying to do a million things and getting ready for upcoming meetings and faith trips...XD is gonna start this coming Monday taking away quite a few young people from the home for 3 weeks, on top of that at the same time other people are leaving for follow-up trips that same day, leaving myself and other 2 ladies all alone at home for a few days...yikes..well, I'll always have my kids to care for, so I guess it makes little difference for me, plus lots and lots of other clean-up jobs....so I guess that will be fun....(said sarcastically by the way)...do I sound stressed?!...Lord help me, trying not to be..towards middle October, shortly after everyone comes home from XD, us parents will be leaving for the PEP, so looking forwards to that...on a positive note, I started picking up an old hobby of mine, something I had not done in more than 10 years, and that is glass painting...will take pics of my creations and post them soon...well, till the next one folks..

Joanna's birthday

Reading her card..
..opening some of her presents..(take note that the gloves, and the nightgown she is wearing and the slippers in her hand are just some foolish things her brother bought her, not like anything she would ever wear...)...
...and the cake..
John...I named him the "tired" visitor..
...and Mike his brother.."the evil gemini"..
And so today Joanna turned 17, and these were just a few shots of the "event"...

The mouse hunt

So here it goes...for the past week or so some ppl had been hearing little noises by the wall, as if there was a little mouse digging or something and then a few days back, one morning, someone finally saw it, but of course was not abble to catch it...so that very evening there it comes out again and this time the boys were able to trap it in the living room and wanted to finally get rid of the little thing..arming themselves with whatever they could use as "weapons"(brooms, broomstricks, a bat, and even a big kitchen knife plus a gun that shoots out these little yellow balls..I know, they got so into it), the mouse hunt could finally be on it's way..chasing it under sofas and various cupboards they finally manage to block it and somehow kill it..(although I am conviced that it did die of a heart attack caused by fear)...anyhow these are the pics of all the guys and their "act"...

Me and my boy

Yesterday Dany took our twin girls to a 2 day fellowship for MCs and OCs for our area as the CP board is hading out the diffrent prices for the kids that participated in the FLIP program, so I find myself alone in our big room just having to care for the baby...now you might think what's the big deal? Well, I guess for me it's quite a diffrent feeling just having to care for "one child", seeing I never had that (since my first pregnacy was twins), so I'm quite enjoying my break although I do miss the rest of my family...plus today is my Word and rest so I got to have some needed extra rest which always seems so hard to get these days with the baby...the Lord loves me..I'll leave you with these pics of the little one chewing on his hairbrush after bathtime..

Those good old days...

Well, seeing Mark again was nice, but seeing the older pics he had was even nicer, and in the midst of all those pictures he had quite a few of a fellowship that was held in Spain in August of 2002 that me and Daniele also got attend, and where this photo was taken...it was a nice place, fun, cool ppl, everything...and I miss those days..here I am with beatiful Desi who was only 18 at the time and who is now married with a child...boy how the years catch up with you, considering that at that time the twins were barely two, and now they are seven....as somebady put it, I'm "middle-aged" now...LOL...

Sam the clown

Here is Samuele, a very fun, cool FGA who is quite the character and always manages to make you smile with his way of being and his foolish faces...(as can be seen in the above picture)...

....and here he is with his wife Lily who always makes sure to keep him on the staight and narrow...(snicker snicker)...anyhow, they came to fellowship with us for the last time before returning home...was fun and relaxing...miss you guys already..oh, and to finish this off, here is one of his favorite riddles; some ppl have gotten the answer in 15 seconds, while others, (like me), have had the answer told to them...so here it goes:

A brick weighs: one kilo plus half a brick;
How much does the brick weigh?

have fun!!!!
