Well, it was a long day but fun with lots of fellowship, presents and good food...the Lord is so good to us and really spoils us...these are just a few pics taken today, the twins with some of their presents, Matthias with some of his...we also had some other ppl come see us which was nice, in this last pic I'm with Crystal..have a very Merry Christmas...

Ok yes, I'm still around even if I haven't posted in awhile...just been out alot during these last two weeks and will probably be this way all the way till Christmas..it's tiring but fun..still waiting on a cam, that's why the lack of photos or very few..oh well, will try to put up something interesting soon..till then I'll leave you with a short verse of a song I heard recently which I thought was sweet and inspiring:

Happy Birthday daddy

So finally today, to his great joy and pleasure,(snicker) my dad is turning a year older, 54 long years are now weighing on his shoulders and he is definitely ready, (according to his own words), to go into retirement and become like the patriarchs of old surrounded by all his sons and daughter and most of all his grandkids...lol..no, he's truly a great dad and still going strong, and I really miss him..I love you dad, and may you have another great year serving the Lord..I really wanted to put a recent pic of him, but all I could get my hands on is this pic I found on the Family website that was taken of my parents when they were still in Africa, 2-3 years ago...I guess it'll have to do for now...un abbraccio papi..ti voglio bene..

BIG NEWS!!

I'm so excited!!
My sister Chiara just told me she's pregnant with her 4th child! It's so awesome....I'm mainly announcing it on my blog for my family whom she did not manage to tell yet! I love you sis..

Missing.....

I miss my family!!
Yup, I've just come to the realization how much I miss each and everyone one of them for diffrent things and how nice it was when we were all living closer together and we got to see each other more often, even if at that time I didn't really appreciate the fact cause' I did not take into consideration that sooner or later we'd all be scattered around the world with little or no possiblity to meet anytime soon...

I miss my mom, just because moms are moms and are always nice to have around for a talk, a counsel on what to do, and just to cry on their shoulder if need be...

I miss my dad and all his talks and the way he just loves to play "old", telling us that now he's gonna "retire" and just take care of all his grandkids...

I miss my sister Chiara for the way she's so friendly and foolish and how you can always have a good laugh with her and just be "sisters"...

I miss Andrea and all his "wee words of wisdom" and all his hugs and all his particular ways of being..

I miss Luca and all the good times we had together, and all his wittiness and for being the cool gemini that he is..and all his comp help..

I miss Michael and all the talks we had and for the fact that he always understood what I was going through, and for all the good laughs we had together..

I miss Dora, mainly for the fact that I have not seen her in almost 5 years, but also for the fact that she friendly and bubbly at all times..

I miss Elena for her sweetness, and the way she's so reserved about herself and her deep love for the Lord..

....and last but not least I miss Kathy the " baby" of our family...she's so cool and fun and is great to hang out with even if I never got to do it much with her for the fact that she always lives so far away ever since she became a teen..

And hey, I don't want to forget all my brothers and sisters in law who are also super great and fun to be with and whom I am also super happy, are part of my family....

I love you guys, and even if I never showed it much to you, or don't comunicate with you often, know that you're in my heart always..

Yet another birthday

Ok, so just yesterday we celebrated Matthew's birthday, had a nice dinner fellowship, lots of laughter and a nice tiramisu cake at the end..the first pic is the birthday boy, very happy after having filled himself with a nice big plate of lasagna, in the second one, the twins are just being their usual cute selves, the third pic is the cake(twas' just too good)and last but not least we arrive at the last very strange looking pic..now behind this pic there is a whole story: so some of the young ppl in the home decided to give Matthew for his birthday a "wife and kids", so someone dressed up as a "wife" and the twins got "wrapped" in a sheet for a surprise...of course as you can see in the pic, Matthew was quite perplexed at this wife he got, which looked more like an old hag than anything else..lol..especially with the superman mask and that wig!! Well, we all had a good laugh so it was worth it..well, that's all for now..goodnight all..

So yesterday it was my hubby's birthday so we had a nice dinner and cake in the evening....he just turned 35...wow..and to think I met him when he was 25..time does fly...I love you...you are truly a great person..

So here I am on my birthday, in front of the cake and opening one of the presents that I recieved...just a note of the last pic with these "necklaces" and very pink fake nails, I did not want to wear these things, but was "forced" by two of the younger girls, as they gave me a very "cute and fake" set of jewellery for kids of course, to replace my stolen stuff..so foolish..so to make them happy, I posted the pic of me with the nails and necklaces..tsk tsk..

The Tale of My Trip

So since today I'm on W&R and and it's also my birthday, I have a moment to tell you all of my trip to the PEP in Portugal. Well, it all started out with me and the other 2 moms of the home taking the first flight from Italy to Barcelona, Spain in the evening, were we then had to wait almost a full day before catching our next flight to Portugal...that's the price you pay when taking cheaper flights: long waiting hours! Anyhow, we get to Spain 40 minutes ahead of time, at about 10:00 pm so we decide to look into sleeping at a cheap youth hostel, which we manage to call and ask if we could come at that time; the place said it was ok, so we go to buy our bus tickets....it was just a time frame of about 2 minutes when it actually happened and I'm still amazed at how good they were...as soon as start heading off to the bus, I realize my handbag is gone! I start looking everywhere to see if I had left it somewhere or something, dropped it..nothing, I start getting panic stricken as the truth of the situation hits me right in the face: MY BAG JUST GOT STOLEN WITH LOTS OF IMPORTANT THINGS IN IT!!!!!....we had been careful and protected our things but I guess this somebody had been studying us and took his chance...well, at this point we could not do much about it, as we did tell the security of the airport but the official police was not there at that hour to get a police report, so we headed of to the youth hostel and decided we would take care of it in the morning. I cannot even begin to describe what I was feeling in that moment, as I had just lost: all my documents, money, camera, mp3 player, cell phones, jewellery, costly sunglasses and other minor stuff..I know, you're probably thinking: "My Lord, how much stuff can you have in one bag?!", but I guess in my mind that was the safest place to keep it all...anyhow, we head off to the hostel, were I pass a very sleepless night, and then first thing in the morning we went back to the airport to get an official police report of the stolen goods. The police was sweet but was not very positive of being able to find any of my documents that day, and without those the only thing I could do was go back to my country. God bless dear Mercy on our team, who never lost faith and was the only one who believed that the Lord wanted me to come to the PEP and would have the documents found that very day, cause' probably the thief only wanted the valuables and would leave the documents in some trash by the airport. Well, at this point since I could not go anywhere but back to Italy, we book another flight for me to go back the next day, while the other girls would continue on in their trip. So after saying goodbye to them, I take a bus back to the hostel where I would spend the night and then catch the flight the next day......as soon as I step out of the bus, the cell phone in my pocket rings(Mercy decided to lend me hers in case of emergency), and it's someone from my home telling me to run back to the airport cause all my documents had just been found!!!!!! I could hardly believe it, it was too good to be true, but when I went to look if there was another bus heading back to the airport, there was none, only one in half hour! What to do...well, the Lord was in total control, and in that moment a bus driver saw me and between english and spanish I told him I needed to get back to the airport very quick or I would miss my flight, so he said he would take me but he was just waiting for one more person..so here I was, having basically an entire bus to myself, that was not supposed to take me, heading to the airport just one hour before my flight to Portugal!! Talk about miracles, this was a major one and so encouraging, as I really had little or no faith that I was actually going to make it there. As soon as I got to the airport, Mercy told me that she and the other girl had been casually walking in front of the police office, when the guys fromthe morning saw them and told them about the documents..of course all the valuables where gone, but in that moment the fact that I was gonna be able to head off to Portugal was such a victory that the stolen stuff was not such a mjor trial anymore and anyhow with time can be replaced. So we finally get on the plane and head out, and I'm so thankful that the Lord worked it all out for good as it was really awesome and not something I would have wanted to miss. Of course this whole thing really did teach me quite a few lessons, especially having faith, as I tend to worry alot and not put my complete trust in the Lord. Also the fact of having put all that stuff in one bag was not the wisest thing to, but I guess expirience is a great teacher. Finally Home

So here I am finally back at home and returning to my usual home life....going to the PEP was quite an expirience, starting from the quite adventurous trip, to the classes, to meeting old friends I had not seen in years...got home Saturday night actually, but of course had to get ahead in all those things that did not get done when I was gone...plus the kids of couse were jumping all over me for joy so in the end I've only managed to to post something now, but stay tuned for the real story soon...

Hi there, just a quick post to tell you all that on Saturday I will be leaving to the PEP for a week so that means no updating...will be leaving the 3 kids with my hubby, so please pray for that, that he will manage especially with the baby and all and that the lord will help me not to worry..wanted to write about it just before I left but seeing the million things I have to do, I don't have much time..well, keep me in your prayers an I'll be catching you at the end of October right in time for my birthday...toodles...

Well, hello world, haven't written anything lately just because haven't really anything to blog about..ppl are still away at the XD so we are not that many in the house which in a way is nice cause it means a little less cleaning..I haven't even taken many pics lately of my kids so don't have any to post right now...missing diffrent ppl right now, such as my hubby who also left at the same time as everyone else on a business trip and won't be back for another while then of course friends and family who I have not seen in awhile..oh well, don't want to be all malinconic, so I'll just close here..catch you all soon..

As promised, here they are, my newest creations on glass..I'm kind of waiting to get some nice glass to paint on but in the mean time I decided to try my hand in paiting the glass water jugs and they actually came out quite pretty...oh well, when I have sme better stuff will post it..enjoy..
