Yup, finally made it to his 3rd year of life!...his birthday was the 19th of Jan, but he was sick that day so we had the celebration today...he loved the cake and the truck.

Yup, another year has come and with it I'm sure, many changes..well, one thing I did to change was cut my hair!...I've had it long for the last 10 years of my life and it was just getting longer and longer to the point that it was really thin, shapeless and lifeless..thus the decision to cut it a bit, layer it and dye it..I'm very satisfied with the outcome..had a nice Christmas(although not feeling well), and a fun NYs party dancing and drinking with ppl I had not seen in a bit..(note to self: must update more often...)

I've come to realise that I've totally abbandoned this blog in the last month and half, before I was posting at least 4-5 times a month, but of late(it's all Facebook's fault), I've been putting pics and writing there so this blog has seen little use...don't really know who reads it anymore, but for the few that do, well, it's been busy, very busy with lots to do and like usual too little people to do it...I've been tired and in need of a vacation....might see friends soon if it works out, so looking forwards to that and if does happen I will post some pics here(hoping I remember to do so).....summer came and went, hardly had time to notice it that it's already time to start another school year, the hot weather will be gone soon and so will the long sunny days.....well, don't want to end this on a sad note, hope I'll remember to start reposting stuff here, and for now I have no pics to post seeing I took none this month but will the next for sure....so long....for now.....

Yes, another year has gone by and my twins are now 9 years old! Their birthday is actually tomorrow, but we celebrated today for comodity sake, as you can see they wanted a fairy castle cake so I called the Master Chef(a.k.a. Kc), who graciosly agreed to make it for them with a tiny bit of help from me...:p....they has fun and got so big in this last year, they also just passed thier exams in italian school for 4th grade...I'm so proud of them...

I’ve actually had the muscles in my eyes moved from one position to another.
I don’t know how to rollerblade
I think that one of the worse feelings in the world is that of missing people.
Watching movies helps me to relax.

I know, it was soppoused to be 25 things but I started working on this list 2 months ago when my sis Dora decided to ask me to write something like this out, and everytime something would come to mind I'd write it down...but now I've decided to post it as it is as the last post for this month...enjoy...

Yes, I have become a deliquent blogger since my Facebook addiction started taking over me and since I stopped having intelligent things to write for the dear readers of this blog to read(they must be very few)...anyhow, not much has happened since my last post apart the fact that I went to Venice again(twice in less than a month), but this time it was because my sis and her whole home from Croatia was going too, so I decided to take the 3 older girls in our home to meet up with them, and it was fun especially for the kids running around like a bunch of maniacs...:p.......shortly after that, in that same week, I decide to go to Croatia to visit my sister doing it in one day!...granted, it's not that far but to try to do it in 24 hours was quite the trip..but it was worth it, and I had fun, apart the fact of coming home the next morning after having travelled half the night to face cooking and cleaning for as my day's work...but hey, that's life and sometimes you need to grab the chance to do fun things as they present themselves even if means putting up with a few less hours of sleep....well, I will be posting pics of my second Venice trip soon enough..till then, back to FB..:p

After having lived in this area of Italy for so long and having never been to Venice, we decided it was about time, and so for family day we and some other ppl set off to see the "water city"....it was a such a beatiful day, although we did quite a bit of walking..there is so much to see, it is truly and an amazing place..these are just a couple of pics from a bridge view (one of the many)..will most lots more pics soon..I'm just too tired right now...enjoy..

Don't know why Erica was making that face...I guess she was caught offguard.... well, now that it's been 10 days that I've had my operation I can say thatI'm finally starting to see almost normally..this last week was a bit tough trying to do stuff and get around, and man I sure started appreciating my eyes! It's gonna take about a month for them to be completly normal, without any swelling, redness on the white part, ect; but apart from that I really do hope that this sugery had the desired effect and that is having eyes that can focus without any difficult..please pray for that..I'm going for another check up at the end of April so till then no scary pics of me..lol..

Yup, finally home after a long but fun week at the ED seminar in Spain..all hail to those who organized it, they really gave it their all..it was quite a bit of information to absorb in such a short amount of time but it was so awesome to be able to get all expirience that others shared...defently helped to renew my vision and set some definite goals of things I want to accomplish as a teacher...seeing friends again was also real nice as it's hard to get around these days and see ppl you haven't seen in a lifetime..oh well, I'm tired right now and don't want to go sorting out which pics I want to post, but will do it soon..for now I'll leave you with one that got taken of some of us girls on Saturday night when we went out to a disco..enjoy...

.....that I have not posted, I know, but truly there was nothing of intrest to post and lately myself and the kids have been sick with the lastest flu going around which seems we have just come out of now...but this month there is something cool happening which is the ED seminar, in Spain and which I'm very excited about..we're leaving Wednesday and staying there a week..lots of good training on the way...so when I come back there will be some nice photos on this blog of the happy people there..for now I'll just leave you with pictures of my twins getting to be little ladies..

and the ice-skating which they did for hours....yup, I so wanted to wish you all a beatiful St. Valentine's day, but I was since the wee hours of the morning getting ready for the day...a fried of ours that takes kids to the mountains for skiing lessons, invited us to go along and and enjoy as well...so me, my sister-in law, her little son and the 3 older girls of the home went on the bus with the group of kids and their cartakers...so when we got there, the other kids went to lessons and I took the girls to play in the huge amount of snow and ice-skating and then to eat in the resturant with the whole group....well, needless to say at the end of the day we were wiped out but happy..especially the kids...belated wishes everyone...I did have a good excuse though....

After the week we spent in Rome, seems I was a little under the weather cause I got sick a day later, and not just a little sick but a fever and a high one at that...and I never get sick..(last famous words)...anyhow, after 3 days my fever is gone but I feel quite weak and need to slowly start getting back up on my feet...I hate this flu, it's been around for so long and it just won't seem to go...please pray for us..no pics at the moment, wouldn't want to scare you with the looks of my face right now...catch you all soon...hopefully feeling much better..

Happy 2009 everyone!!! My first January post, uhmmm, what should I say? Oh right, about how New Years' was...well, seeing just how lucky I am(right), I was sick that day and night with a fever and a bad cold which basically put me to bed nice and early...sob...anyhow, that night it started snowing, which put everything under a beatiful blanket of white..so next morning the kids were all out there making their first snowman..pics coming soon..

Today Mike and Amy finally tied the knot!! And here we are already in September, basically this year is almost gone and it feels like it was only such a short time ago that I was in the middle of a very busy Christmas push...so much has happened this year, including changing homes, but I'm exicited for what the future will bring as nowadays it's always just a suprise day by day..was just blog surfing a bit and I realise how many people as starting to get all on the defense about comments they get on their blog...I must say I'm quite lucky, seeing that I still have not recieved any of those "nasty ones" going around as it so seems...but in the end I'm convinced that if you do start something like a blog that is completly open to just about any Tom, Dick and Harry to read you also have to accept that people will often not be nice, cause they don't know you, can't understand the way you live or whatever reason they have...with this I'm not defending or promoting bad comments..God forbid..it was just a though..

Yes, I've been quite happy to have Luca and Claire here for the last couple of weeks, but alas they are leaving this week-end for the cold country of England where they will be spending the rest of time they are here in Europe..sob...oh well, at least last night we got to go out for pizza me, Andrea, Luca, Claire and Julian..went to a nice place and even got ice cream afterwards..of course I took my camera along, but to my dismay my batteries died shortly after having taken just a couple of pics..just managed to take these two of Luca and his beer and Julian enjoying his plate of chips...

Yes, today my girls are 8 years old and we had a pretty full day! We started off in the morning by taking them to the pool where we stayed until lunch time, came home, ate lumch, had a bit of quite time and then in the afternoon we had the whole opening presents-eating cake party..................the biggest present they got this year was rollerblades........it had been awhile they had been asking me to get them some so now they have something new to practise on.....wow they truly are gettimng so big..sob....

I just realised today that on the 12th it's been a year that I've been blogging! I looked over my posts of the last year, and quite a few things have happened, most nice, so I can thank the lord for that....I don't have any pictures to show for this post as my husband finally managed to find a bit of time to rid my laptop from a very hated Windows Vista and put XP on it, so I'm very happy about that but he hasn't yet completed the whole work so I have to wait to get my hands on the pictures from my comp, as right now I'm using his...oh well, bye for now..

Yes, my girls passed their exam just today! I was real worried and all, but the Lord did it like always...have not been updating much, seeing we just moved to our new home, but a week after doing that had to go down to Rome for the twins' exams..oh well, glad that's over, at least for this year, and now on to fourth grade..well not quite yet..having a nice long summer break...will be back home on Wednesday hopefully and will try to get pics up..love you all..

He Walks!!!

And so it is that this little man, finally just kind of took of the other day and greatly suprised me and his dad by walking all by his lonesome! It's been quite a few months that he was going just about everywhere by holding on to things and crawling but everytime we would try to get him to actually "walk" on his own he'd just refuse....but the other day at the age of 15 months he finally decided it was his time....sorry for the not so good pic of him standing alone, for in his capricorn stubborness he really was not in the mood for picture taking especially of him walking and was getting more upset by the minute...in the top pic he's grining trying to be all cute seeing that I caught him once more touching the dehumidifier with which he is totally obsessed and which he had been pulled away from countless times...oh well, enjoy....
